Summer Camp

This summer the troop went to Camp Whitsett in the Southern Sierras

Plenty of Good Eats and appetites

Back Packing:

Our Troop enjoys Backpacking.  For those scouts who are interested in mountain adventure, you can enjoy panoramic views from                           Mt Lowe, Switzer Falls, Bridge To Nowhere, Mt. San Jacinto, Mt. San Gregornio, Mt Whitney, John Muir Trail and many more.                               You earn awards / patches for completing these backpacking trips.   Several scouts have over 300 miles of backpacking logged over the                  last years.

The Bridge to Nowhere

On one such weekend backpacking trip, the troop discovered a bridge to and from nowhere. Apparently the highway which it was connected was destroyed in the late 1930's.
